About the Tour
After the drive down the Draa Valley you spend three nights in Erg Chigaga. One day is a camel trek through the dunes, and the next is split between sandboarding and a guided quad ride.
We fit the activities to your group’s experience and to the weather. In summer the active hours move to early morning and late afternoon.

How the five days go, from your pickup in Marrakech to the drop-off.
Day 1 · Marrakech to Agdz
Over the High Atlas to Aït Benhaddou and Ouarzazate, then to Agdz in the Draa Valley.
- Overnight: Guesthouse or kasbah hotel in Agdz
Day 2 · Agdz to Erg Chigaga
Down the Draa to M’hamid and by 4×4 into the dunes.
- Overnight: Desert camp in Erg Chigaga
Day 3 · Camel trek
A full day with camels and a camel man, with a picnic lunch in the dunes.

Day 4 · Sandboard and quad
Sandboarding in the morning and a guided quad ride in the afternoon.

Do I need experience to ride a quad?
No. The guide starts with a short lesson and keeps the ride to your level. Helmets are provided.
What is the desert camp like?
You sleep in a tent at a camp in the dunes, with dinner and breakfast. Camps range from simple to comfortable tents with a private bathroom; tell us the level you want and we suggest camps that fit.
What should I pack?
Light clothes for the day, a warm layer for the desert night, a hat, sun cream and a small bag for the camp. Your main luggage stays in the vehicle.
Can we change the route or the hotels?
Yes. We can add nights, change hotels or swap the order of the stops, since only your group is on the tour. Tell us what you have in mind when you enquire.
