About the Tour
You start at M’hamid and ride west over sand, stony plain and dry riverbeds to Erg Chigaga. A guide rides with you on a quad, and a 4×4 carries the bags and the water.
Some riding experience helps, but you don’t need it; the guide sets the pace for the group. The drives to and from Marrakech are broken up with nights in Agdz and Ouarzazate.

How the seven days go, from your pickup in Marrakech to the drop-off.
Day 1 · Marrakech to Agdz
Over the High Atlas and through Ouarzazate to Agdz.

Day 2 · Agdz to M'hamid
Down the Draa Valley to M’hamid, meet the quad team and take a first short ride in Erg Lihoudi.

Do I need a licence?
No driving licence is needed for the guided quads, but riders must be adults. Tell us everyone’s experience when you enquire.
What is the desert camp like?
You sleep in a tent at a camp in the dunes, with dinner and breakfast. Camps range from simple to comfortable tents with a private bathroom; tell us the level you want and we suggest camps that fit.
What should I pack?
Light clothes for the day, a warm layer for the desert night, a hat, sun cream and a small bag for the camp. Your main luggage stays in the vehicle.
Can we change the route or the hotels?
Yes. We can add nights, change hotels or swap the order of the stops, since only your group is on the tour. Tell us what you have in mind when you enquire.
