About the Tour
A photography trip needs more time in fewer places, with mornings and evenings for shooting and the travel done in the middle of the day. So there are two full days in Marrakech and in Fes, and the nights are placed so you can be in position at sunrise and sunset.
We can arrange a photographer to travel with you. Or travel with your driver and local guides and work at your own pace.

How the 12 days go, from your pickup in Marrakech to the drop-off.
Day 1 · Arrival in Marrakech
Transfer to your riad and an evening walk to Jemaa el-Fna.

A full day of shooting: the souks early, palaces and gardens at midday, the square at dusk.

To the coast for the harbour, the ramparts and the evening light.

The harbour at sunrise, then inland and up into the High Atlas to Telouet.

Do you provide a photography teacher?
We can arrange a photographer to join you for all or part of the trip at extra cost. Tell us your level and what you would like to work on.
Can we photograph people?
Always ask first. Your guide can help you ask and explain what you are doing; some people will say no, and that should be respected.
What is the desert camp like?
You sleep in a tent at a camp in the dunes, with dinner and breakfast. Camps range from simple to comfortable tents with a private bathroom; tell us the level you want and we suggest camps that fit.
Can we change the route or the hotels?
Yes. We can add nights, change hotels or swap the order of the stops, since only your group is on the tour. Tell us what you have in mind when you enquire.
