Your information

Privacy Policy

What personal information we collect through this website, why we need it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Marrakech Holiday plans and runs private tours in Morocco from Marrakech. We decide how the personal information sent to us through marrakech-holiday.com is used.

Contact: zainelife05@gmail.com, +212 667 897 512, Marrakech 40000, Morocco.

What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Tour enquiry and booking form: the start date, the number of travellers, your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country and any message you add, for example the name of your riad, the ages of children or food needs.
  • Deposit payments: you pay on PayPal’s pages, by card or with a PayPal account. PayPal sends us your name, email address, the amount and a transaction number. We never see or store card numbers.
  • While we plan your trip: what you choose to send us by email or WhatsApp, such as flight times, the names of travellers for hotel bookings or a health condition we should know about.
  • Technical data: like any website, our host keeps server logs with IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, which are used for security.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your questions, prepare a quote, book the hotels, camps, drivers and guides for your tour, take your deposit, send your confirmation and invoice, keep our accounts and reach you during the trip.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising or add you to a mailing list. We only send you news or offers if you ask us to.

Who we share it with

  • The drivers, guides, hotels, riads and desert camps on your tour, with only what they need: names, number of travellers, dates and any food or health needs you told us about.
  • PayPal, which processes deposit payments under its own privacy policy.
  • Hostinger, which hosts this website and sends its emails.
  • Public authorities, when the law requires it.

Hotels and riads in Morocco must register the passport details of their guests. They take these from you when you check in.

Cookies and outside services

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Some pages load services from other companies, which can set their own cookies or record your IP address: the Google map on our Contact page, PayPal when you pay a deposit, and a script from Hostinger Reach, part of our web host’s services.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, but the map and the payment page may not.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within two years. Booking records and invoices are kept for as long as Moroccan accounting rules require. Emails and messages about a trip are deleted when they are no longer needed for it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to zainelife05@gmail.com and we reply within 30 days. We may need to keep booking records that the law requires us to keep.

In Morocco, personal data is protected by Law 09-08, overseen by the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel). If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the GDPR and can complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only our team can open the bookings and enquiries saved on the site, and payments are handled on PayPal’s secure pages.

Children

Our forms are for adults. When a family books, a parent gives us the information we need about the children, such as their ages.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with a new date at the top.
