This Marrakech private tour is a full day for travellers with only a day or two in the city, with a licensed guide and a car. You see the Koutoubia, the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace in the morning and, after lunch, the souks, the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the Majorelle Garden.
The day is planned around the heat and the crowds. In the morning, while it is cooler, you see the sights south of Jemaa el-Fnaa: the Koutoubia, the sixteenth-century Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace.
After lunch your guide takes you north through the souks to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a Koranic school with carved cedar and stucco around its courtyard. The car then drives you out to the Majorelle Garden, and you finish at Jemaa el-Fnaa or back at your riad.

From your pickup in the morning to the drop-off at the end of the day.
Your guide and driver meet you at 9:00. The Koutoubia, the Saadian Tombs in the Kasbah quarter and the Bahia Palace.
Lunch at a riad restaurant or on a roof terrace your guide knows.
North through the souks to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, then by car to the Majorelle Garden. Drop-off at your riad or hotel, or at Jemaa el-Fnaa for the evening.
We pick you up at your riad or hotel in Marrakech at the time you choose. If your riad is in a lane cars cannot enter, the driver waits at the nearest square or gate and someone from the riad walks you there.
March to May and September to November are the easiest months for walking the city. Summer afternoons are very hot, so we start early or go in the evening.
Comfortable shoes, clothes that cover shoulders and knees, a hat in summer, and small change in dirhams for entrance fees and tips.
Most sites charge a small entrance fee in dirhams, so carry cash. Mosques in Morocco are closed to non-Muslims, with the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca as the main exception. In the souks, prices are agreed by bargaining, and it is fine to say no politely. Your guide keeps unofficial guides away and knows the quieter lanes.
Prices are per person and depend on the size of your group. You book with a 20% deposit by card or PayPal and pay the balance on the first day of the tour.
If you cancel 30 days or more before the start, we refund the deposit in full; after that the deposit is kept. You can change the date once for free if you ask 14 days or more before. The details are in our Cancellation Policy.
One full day covers the main monuments, the souks and the Majorelle Garden. With two days you can add a hammam, a cooking class or an evening at Jemaa el-Fnaa.
The medina sights are seen on foot. The car saves the walk out to the Majorelle Garden, which is outside the medina walls, and takes you back to your hotel.
From June to September we start earlier and leave a longer break in the middle of the day. You can also split the tour over two mornings.
